Derek Hoeferlin (Dutch Dialogues participant, Gutter to Gulf co-founder with Jane Wolff and Elise Shelley of the University of Toronto, and Washington University in St. Louis senior lecturer) recently organized a panel entitled “NL-StL-NO: A Dialogue about Water’s Implications for Design and Infrastructure.” Hosted by the Sam Fox School of Design and Visuals Arts at Washington University in St. Louis on March 2, 2010, the discussion featured the Netherlands Ambassador to the United States Renée Jones-Bos with additional presentations by Hoeferlin and Dutch Dialogues founder and Waggonner & Ball Architects principal David Waggonner. Opening remarks were made by Bruce Lindsey, Dean of College & Graduate School of Architecture & Urban Design, with responses by Dorothée Imbert, Chair of Master of Landscape Architecture and Buzz Spector, Dean of College & Graduate School of Art.
